1. About us

These terms apply to all work carried out by E&P HVAC Refrigeration ("we", "us", "our"), a Perth-based heating, cooling and refrigeration business operating across the Perth metropolitan area, Western Australia.

2. Quotes & pricing

Quotes generated through our online quote tool are estimates based on the information you provide. The final price is confirmed in writing after an on-site assessment or once we have full details of the install.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. Pricing may change if site conditions, access, materials or scope differ from what was originally described.

3. Bookings, deposits & cancellations

A booking is confirmed once you accept a written quote and any agreed deposit has been received. For larger installs we may request a deposit to secure equipment and a booking slot.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a callout fee to cover allocated time and any non-returnable materials.

4. Workmanship & manufacturer warranties

We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion. This covers installation defects and does not extend to damage from misuse, tampering, power events, or third-party modifications.

Equipment we install is covered by the manufacturer's warranty (typically 5–7 years on Midea, AirTouch and similar brands). We help you claim under those warranties where applicable.

5. Callouts & after-hours work

Standard callout fee covers the first hour on site. Additional time is billed in 30-minute increments. After-hours and weekend breakdown work may attract a surcharge — we'll let you know before we attend.

6. Payment terms

Invoices for service and breakdown work are due on completion. Install invoices are due within 7 days of practical completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept bank transfer and card payments.

Overdue amounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.

7. Liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to, at our option, re-supplying the service or refunding the amount paid for the relevant work. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantees, rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of Western Australia.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at ephvacrefrigeration.com.au/terms.
